Hello everyone,

Let me tell you a brief about my aquarium,
I had 6 tiger barb, 4 rosy barbs and 3 red eye swordtails (tangerine) in my 18x12x12 (Almost 11 gallon, 42Ltrs) tank.

The recent update abt my tank is, two of the tiger barbs died, one whose fins were damaged and one with only minor fin damage
Other fish compleately ate the latter one before i could notice it in the evening and could do anything.
I believe the remaining TBs are mostly female (3 out of 4) and they have started fighting with one more TB who i think is a male, (I fear if this is a female-male domination)
Also one of the red eye swordtail female died yesterday night, and other fish (TB and RB) started eating her too... :( The other female too has started takingn corners of the tank, but no fin damage is observed. (The remaining swordtail male is fine)

I fear that the aggression level in the tank is increasing by each day.

Frnds, please suggest me as to which type of fish should i keep in my tank if I have to return all of these. (I am planning to do it on this sunday itself)

Only a month back i purchased this tank along with all accessories (gravel, under gravel filter etc).

Awaiting ur suggestions....

My experience with tiger barbs is that they need to be kept in a larger tank. Something like 30 gallons. They are known to be aggressive with each other and with other fish.

You are overstocked as well in a tank that size and from your pic your water isn't anywhere near the top of the tank so I suspect your tank contains less than 10 gallons anyway. I would personally rehome the 4 remaining barbs and keep to the remaining stock in the tank.
