No ways.... I've seen them before...... Don't name Her yet, cause Arthur is going to turn out to be Martha.....(next week's pic will tell)

Would you like to elaborate on why you are so sure it's a girl.

From our observations, everything points to being male.......Long ventrals, Pointed Anal and full flare, the same as the babies from our first spawn!!!!

Bloated belly like that and the facial expression...... She's gotta be she. Pointed anal etc.etc. relevant to cichlids and other anabantoids, but not so much to Bettas. The ventrals are not nearly developed, unless she's under 3 months.

They are 2 months old and the bloated belly is due to feeding. If you look at my thread further down "copper spawn" you see updated pics on the 2nd page which show them all with bloated bellys. Thats not really an accurate way of sexing at this age!!

Netty...Netty..... I've forgotten all the previous threads o' mine in this forum about Bettas, but they are multiple, and I've had brood after brood...... I start sexing (removing the males) after about 4.5 months when the only obvious signs of sex are when the males start to be aggressive toward their rivals. You have a Martha here by facial expression only. Please let me know in a month's time if I was wrong, but I doubt it.
