Ian Fuller posted this in Corydoras World, and I thought some members may find it interesting and informative. Most of the video is a discussion from the authorities on Corydoradinae, in Spanish but English subtitles, and photos of the new species.

Wow cool how we keep discovering new species. I figured we would have found them all by now.

That goes for lots of different things
It does. I really like all the discoveries of Corydoras, and the new lampeye killies being found are very exciting. Lots of new to us tetras, too. The small life of the planet is still very mysterious to humans.

Love this stuff.
It wasn’t so long ago that confirmation of there being three types of elephant blew my mind. Now fish are a lot smaller so I doubt we’ll ever find them all.
