This Was Probably Already Covered, But I Can't Find It

Okay, I just got 2 new fish (mickey mouse platies. I might be able to upload some pictures later...) and I'm a little confused about how exactly to put them in. I know that I have to let their bag sit in my tank for about 20 (is that all right?) minutes before adding them in, but is there anything else I need to know?

It's also a good idea to add a little bit of tank water to the bag every 10 minutes, this will just allow them to adapt to any pH changes over a longer period of time.

Then net the fish out, don't pour out of the bag.
