This Just Takes The Biscuit:(

OMFG! Are you freaking SERIOUS GSD? That is possibly the worst I have ever heard, apart from the cups in walmart that are ALLOWED TO DRY UP so the bettas die of exposure.

This is horrifying.

Andy - unfortunately, I have seen far worse, if that's a litre in capacity, I have seen bettas kept in exactly a quarter of that.

thats just one litre of water?

my beer glass is bigger than that!!!!

Actually a pint is 570ml traditionally with an extra 80 to the rim unless you are in the US where a pint is 450ml and again 80ml to the rim.

Very cruel but two fold atleast it makes the trade of poorer quality bettas freely available so that all of us can easily pick them up from our LFS with little trouble.

From belgium, probably drinks litres lol, seriously bad that vase poor thing being stuck in there for life

I would quite like to break something now :grr: What the hell is wrong with people? I'd seriously love to know who started the myth tha bettas can live permanently in tiny amounts of water and space, because that person has an appoinment with my weaponry wall.

Who on earth thinks this is in any way normal or humane?

Hang on...
my designs
?????????????????? I've seen vases EXACTLY like that sold in the most basic backstreet supermarkets. How is this the sellers design ???? What precisely is original or innovative about it? It's a tall narrow rectangluar glass pot with a bit of gravel and a crappy plastic plant in it. A chimp could make this. It's unnatural, CRUEL, pointless and should not be allowed to be listed for the use of keeping a live animal at all. I wouldn't even keep pond snails in this let alone a fish.

It actually works out smaller than a ltr as its a round! What do you mean by "makes the trade of poorer quality bettas freely available"?

This item has nothing to do with "poorer quality bettas". What it does mean though, is that any betta put in it will have a poorer life!

I would say that if someone cant afford the basic requirements for a betta, or any other fish, then they shouldn't resort to lining the pockets of so called "Designers" with their minimalistic views, and interests that are only concerned with asthetics!
