I apologise for the poor photo quality as I haven't seemed to have been able to learn the art of fish photography anyway here is the link.... http://picasaweb.google.com/dayzofspeed/Aquarium?feat=directlink
Let me know what you think but bear in mind I am planning on a total re think in the new year

fantastic tank , like beth says what size is it ? looks quite big in the pics :good:

it's a juwel rio 240, and i agree with you littlemonkey. maybe santa will bring me one.although it would probably just die like all the others ive tried, i've even struggled with java fern in the past and just added some more for a final attempt with them, i will put up new pics if i rescape in the new year

the tanks looking good mate

liking the background

thanks for the comments, i've never been totally happy with the tank and always felt its missing something but maybe if i can get this latest set of plants to survive i'll be happier, the pygmy swords in the foreground have now melted away and new leaves slowly taking their place. i think once the rescape is done i will get a few anubias petite to fill the foreground in around the rocks to the right. the stems are reaching the surface in places so at least things are growing for now

Where did you get it from? wouldn't mind a bit myself at that price!

Nice bike in your avatar btw, always had a soft spot for thundercats :good:

the background was bought when i got the tank about 4 years back from a place called BAS in Bolton, I dont tend to use that place anymore but i could pop in sometime and see if they still sell it. or another option might be that when i do my rescape i could maybe make a cast of it or something like that

i loved that bike and even after upgrading to a GSX1400 (which i no longer have....recession etc) i still missed the old thundercat, the pic was taken at John o' Groats in 2005

Everyone always comments on the tank......
Its the fish, they're well grown, healthy, and butifull!
Nice job! :D :good:
