This is my setup with piranha , convicts....

ok well you need a much much bigger tank
the piranah needs to go
the plec wil need a bigger tank
the shark will need a bigger tank

they should be fine for about a month at the most
i know its not bennys fault coz when i started i got told that 4 sailfins could live with my plec and some chiclids andd a fire parrot and a goldfish.the mollies were eaten.the plec an the parrot are fine now and so is the chiclids but if i didnt have this place id of still kept them tohgether

all the fish are doing great guys....i got 2 tanks now.....separated the sharks from the red-belly....too much violence....LOL...and btw....yes it is a red-belly piranha...

I have a friend who has 2 P's in a 4G tank w/ nothing except gravel. No plants, no decorations. Although, I wound not like to add plants to a tank with 2 P's lurking in its deps.........

They're also vegitarians. Once in a while thjey get left over meat (Her mom owns a Bar-b-q).

4 Gallons?

Are you taking the pee? Doesnt seeing 2 fish in such obvious squalor make you want to do something about it? At least advise them on what they really need...?

ethos those ps should seriously be taken from your friend thats ridiculous how big are they!!!

Perchance by vegetarian you mean they are actually pacus and need a tank well over 500 gallons

I have three piranha's and mine are babies. I pet mine they have got to where they wont have nothing to eat but shrimp. It takes me a pack with a hundred shrimp to do two feedings for them. I dont have nothing in with them and right now they are in a 55 gallon tank. I plan on upgrading soon to a 75 gallon this should hold them over for a while.. :dunno:

Yes angel lady your p's are fine 75(for life) would be a good idea for the extra width when they get that big but also a 55 will suffice for a long while.

FRESHMIKE My P's ate everything except for the pleco that fought them...odd as it may seem, a year after I sold my P's, my cichlids killed the pleco.... [/COLOR]

actually I too had a common pleco that lived and fought off my 2 RBPs but yet in the end it was a JD that ended up shreading and killing him
