And it's frustrating me sooo bad! :X First time i noticed he was super fat, posted here, got told to feed him pea. By the time i had cooked a pea and went to feed it to him his tummy was back to normal. Tried to feed it to him anyway but he didn't want it. The bit of pea sunk straight to the bottom anyway so he didn't get a chance to eat it. Didn't feed him for 2 days then fed him 2 pellets. He got massively fat AGAIN! Didn't feed him for 2 more days then fed him one pellet last night, he was fine, one pellet today and now he's fat AGAIN!! Should i try the pea again? It's extremely frustrating for me watching him get fat, get better, fat, better, etc.

First I want to tell you that Ludo is a beautiful betta! I think that he gets fat when he eats. I can't really tell you how much to feed him because my betta is spoiled and only eats flakes! When I try to feed him pellets he doesn't eat them and he sometimes spits them out near the filter! Well, what can I say... fish are smart!
Sometimes they don't get sucked up, but he tried. LOL. Maybe your betta doesn't go to the bathroom enough and only goes when he gets really filled. I hope you find the solution!

Our crowntail also gets rather fat when he eats, but it goes away. I think it's normal and if it continues to go away, he's just fine. It's when it stays for several days after he's not had food that you should worry. Just keep doing what you're doing and no worries. :)

 I fed all my boys live food yesterday, the 3 smallest bettas who all happen to be cts were bloated, the othere werent...perhaps it depends on the fish?
