i have a Rio 240 with a tetratec ex1200, i've been playing with a lot of different ideas recently because i'd like to change the stock. i live in a hard water area, and plants don't tend to do too well without a lot of help, so cichlids seem the obvious choice.
i don't really have a clue about them though tbh, apart from the very basics.
i'd like to keep something a bit different, but i don't even know where to start looking. at the moment it's just an idea as i've got a few other interesting idea's floating about.
any help in any way would be much appreciated, steve.
UPDATE: i've had a look about at some different profiles etc, and i'd also be tempted by a tanganyikan tank, in fact i think it could be more interesting? not too sure though.....
