i am thinking of changing tank stok chould i have these 4 clown loach/7 corys/2 angels/1 firemouth/1 frontosa/1 jack dempsey/1 convict
if so wich should i add first ;0)

Sounds like an iffy mix to me..... what size tank is it?

Frontosas need big tanks and are Africans and although occasionally kept as large fish community residents not ideal IMO as they need full African conditions to thrive and I believe they are actually quite gregarious so are best kept in groups.

The JD, Firemouth and Convict might work together - depending on tank size but I wouldnt keep them with Angels.

Cories are not suited in this as well as the bigger fish could do damage to them....

Also Clown Loaches are dependent on tank size as well ultimately needing large tank of around 6 foot.

The good news is there are alternatives to most of these fish to get you a well balanced tank - depending on tank size. So if you give us a bit more info should be able to help :)

Iv had success with bronze Cories with a red devil (8 inch) and 3 flowerhorns (blue diamond - 6 inch). Not at the same time, RD 1st then when I rehomed him I had them with 3 flowerhorns. As stated I wouldn put the angel in, I have no experience or knowledge on the frontosa.

The JD, firemouth and convict should be fine. Just make sure you add them when they are roughly the same size as each other.

Leave out the clowns as they need a 6 foot take when bigger. Although they are very slow growing

Sorry but that is just pure luck nothing else - I wouldnt recommend it to others as though you have been lucky with this many others wont be.

the tank is 400l the only fish in there is 6 skunk loaches.wich cichlids do you think will look good in this tank size.and which cichlids are esay to breed open to ideas ;0)

What are the dimensions. If you want them to breed your best luck is either buy a known breeding pair or buy a group and wait for them to pair.

It's going to be like rolling the dice when you're stocking the big aggressive cichlids. No guarantees that all will get along. As others have already pointed out your current plan has some flaws. Also remember if you're going to have a breeding pair of cichlids, in most cases that means no other fish in the tank, unless you want to see the cichlids put some serious beatings on the other fish. They are very protective of their fry. Of course, any that could survive the beatings would eat said fry.
BTW, I think a breeding pair of Frontosa would be awesome in your tank. Plus young Frontosa are easier to trade/sell and worth more than many other fish.

so could i have 2 firemouths 1jd and 1 convict if so could i have any bottom feeders if so what :0)

Maybe but 4 cichlids on 2 occasions spread over a year... That's a lot of luck

Is your tank Juwel one? They are the most common 400 liters :) If so your numbers look good - only thing to think about is if you get 2 male Firemouths or a male and a female - I would possibly go with 2 males as a breeding pair would be an issue for the other inhabitants where as a dominant male and a sub dominant male could co exist and if not its only one fish to rehome.

One other thing to think of - the Convict, they are pretty common do you not fancy something a little rarer? Like a Sajica or Honduran Red Point?

As for bottom dwellers and other tank mates what about a proper Central American tank and go for Hoplo Catfish - specifically Megalechis Thorcatum but any of the Hoplos would work well :) And then for dithers and schoolers, Blind Cave Tetras from Mexico would be good and Swordtails (preferably wild type but any commercial colour form would work) Red Eye Tetras are a good candidate as well as though they are not Central American their relatives are :)

Agreed. It is luck 4 Cichlids in the grand scheme of the hobby is nothing. Thinking more broadly I can see why the Red Devil worked as they mainly eat detritus, algae and insects in the wild and are rapidly evolving in some habitats to have big rasping lips for algae and are mainly aggressive to larger fish but still wouldnt reccomend as they could easily fit in their mouths. Reasonably similar rational for the Flowerhorns but with greater caution as they are more aggressive.

chould i have an oscar or parrotfish i will have a look at hoplo ;)

IMO I'd want to stay away from them, but yes. If you get an Oscar though he's very messy and will not be able to have too many mates.

As said above an Oscar would cut down the number of fish you could have over all. But yes in that size tank its possible :) Parrotfish is in the same group as the other fish you mentioned - Firemouth, Jack Dempsey etc but its just down to if you like them or not - for me its a no but I can kind of see the attraction.
