Earlier I took a regular look in my tank and I seen somthing I've never seen before. Hopefully because it wasn't there.

I noticed tiny little things that were less than a millimeter in length making themselves very busy on the inside of my aquarium lid. They were white and all over the inside of the lid and light unit (Juwel's unit makes up part of the lid).

Were. Because I washed the damn lot in bleach!

So, anyone know what these were?
Anyone dealt with this problem before?
What could have brough this menace to my tank|

Sounds like Planaria to me. :good:

Normally harmless, but they can get into the fishes gills, causing irritation. They also have a toxin in their skin which is poisonous to shrimp.

They appear when you are overfeeding, not hoovering the tank properly, or ammonia levels have risen.

Make sure you wash your hands after touching them.

I already give my wife a bad time... Thusday night I worked until midnight. Friday... Well, I worked until 5:30 Saturday morning. Obviously leaving my wife to feed them. She said they were looking at her with sad hungry eyes!
I'll tell her to ignore them next time!
