The Wait Is Finally Over.....jude Gave Birth On Saturday

Congrats to you both, ahhh such happiness from such a tiny bundle - you are both very lucky, enjoy and spoil them both Big Mick - they deserve it.
 
They do deserve to be spoiled, especially Jude, she was so brave and only had the gas and air but she was lucky in that her labour was very quick.

I drove her to hospital at 3pm and her contractions were 4/10 for pain, by 5pm they were 7/10 and baby was born 30 mins later and came out in one big push.

I have so much respect and admiration for her for going through it all, I dont think I'll ever be able to repay her but I'll give it a bloody good go!
 
Good luck to you all, the crying really starts when the teeth start showing up!!
It is all worth it though, my wee boy just turned 2 last week, the time really flies by, try to enjoy every minute.

You've made me very broody with the pics, but unluckily for me (and luckily for the OH who has no desire for more) I didn't get it as easy labour wise with my first, although the subsequent two were born the "proper" way, ie. C-section *pmsl*. I'd never do a "normal" birth again, so no, never, never, ever, ever again. :lol:
 
I couldn't go through it again either, i never had an epidural for pain relief, gas and pethadine.
But once it all over worth it.

My angels are home!

Jude and Mirren came home on Wednesday and things have been great, I have to go back to work on monday and Im dreading it.

I could stare at her all day....Jude aswell.

Im a happy little Geordie, Mirren saw her first England world cup victory today and you know, when I changed her nappy at half time her little gurgle sounded just like "Roonie"...

...nah, it didnt really.

:wub: She is so beautiful. Looks like she's already grown since the first pics. How are you both settling into the broken sleep? Lovely isn't it!! :wub: You look so proud and have every right to be. Congrats to you both again.
 
The broken sleep is fine so far, when she wakes through the night Jude feeds her and I change her so we both get some sleep albiet a little less.
 
Or bless her she a little cutie.

Congratulations Mick and Jude - Mirren is gorgeous!! :wub: Not all babies have sleepless nights - my son was an excellent sleeper so keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Savour every moment as the time race by and before you know it they're in school!
