For embers I'd do a 10 gallon. 6 embers and a betta sounds nice.

One of my Hillstream Loaches is a jerk They're fine in the tank minding their own business but when I add an algae wafer to the tank they go nuts. They dont mind any fish near them EXCEPT for my poor Corys who get chased all around the tank They stop eventually though and find another piece somewhere else
