Have finally decided on the next pair for spawning. Sygun & Misty were put in the divided spawning tank this morning for conditioning. Her dorsal was nipped off like that by the girls the first night she was in with them but is growing back nicely now :D They are a good match size wise as they are both fairly small still......I don't think he would be able to wrap any of the bigger girls :S

Update on these babies. We have 20 copper babies that are now 2 months old yesterday. All are eating and growing well but are now starting to squabble and one has had his caudal chomped in half   We've separated the 2 biggest which look like males and are doing the same with another 2 in a minute. The copper colours are really showing through now and look great :good: At a glance and going by length of ventrils most look to be male but you never know. I'll be watching like a hawk from now on

Thanks....these guys have done so well and are starting to look really nice. Varying shades of copper at the moment....some are really dark and some lighter but all have a copper sheen to them

awww...how sweet. I love Coppers! I have a copper male. I really want a copper female but haven't had any luck finding any around here. If you have one that you're looking to get rid of..... :hey:

Thanks Guys :good: :good:

Shame you live 1000s of miles away bymauldin. If you were UK it wouldn't be a problem ;)
