A look at my first few steps into the planted tank...


My Tank

Juwel 180

180 Litres

Lights 2 x 35w High-lite bulbs on 11 hours per day (Not sure if high - lite is the same as t-5)

CO2.....2bps

Ferts

40 UK Gallon tank I do the following.

Potassium Nitrate
39g to 500ml for the solution
dosage = 25ml 3 times per week

Potassium Phosphate
5g to 500ml for the solution
dosage = 25ml 3 times per week

Trace
9g to 250ml for the solution
dosage = 10ml 3 times per week

Mon - dose
Tue -
Wed - dose
Thur -
Fri - dose
Sat -
Sun - water change


Plants so far

Hygrophila Rosae Australis
Limnophila Sessiliflora
Microsorum pteropus
Ludwigia Repens
Lugwigia Rubin
Lobelia Cardinalis
Hydrocotyle
Bacopa monnieri (I think)
Hygrophila corymbosa Siamensis

Your shuffle around has improved the layout in a big way - looks really good mate. Have you thought about foreground plants?

I was thinking about getting some more Hydrocotyle verticillata but the bit I have got black spot in the very centre of the leaf....so I will be thinking of something else...

Not the best photo's I know...but after my reflectors for the t-5's and the new fluval 305 arrive next week I will save up for a decent camera....the latest are off my mobile phone
 
The Hygrophila rosae australis is coming on nicely
