I've been watching your other post in the main betta forum admiring photos of Osel, and it's suddenly dawned on me I have a female of the same colouration. D'oh. He's pretty though

I'm growing concerned for Asol though.. He's not really regrowing his fins, and the tines have gone all stringy looking. His pelvic fins are far longer than his ventral fins from the image of him posted on here to compare to. He's eating well enough, and I put some silk plant leaves in his healing tank as well as swapped out the plastic plant in Osel's transition tank for a weighted cluster of leaves to provide something to swim around.

I don't know if he's giving up on living or what.. I'm still having him on light medication to encourage re-growth of his fins. Laren has healed beautifully on the same medication.
