First off these fish are in temporary holdings until I can get a hold of a couple 10 gal tanks to better house them in - their water is maintained at 75 degrees with at least a weekly water change, and a variety of foods and stimulation as funds can allow.

7 are all crowntails, 2 veils, and a Partial albino.

In order from first bought to newest -

Mavenna

-A very sassy girl who likes to chill out on the side of her tank closest to me when I sit at the desk working on art, and is very conspicuous about being a garfield when she looks at me, then glances up at the surface and back at me when I come near the tank.-

Regadin

-Shy male, but very active - took me a long time to trick him to come in front of the lens sideways for me to snap this photo-

Tolric

-A fast reacting male to his reflection in the mirror - he possesses the same coloration as Tolric with a blue body and red fins, with a touch of black edging.-

Kalli

-Very friendly and social girl, she becomes ecstatic when I approach her tank-

Asol

-Gorgeous blue gold male. when I first saw him with clamped fins I almost passed him over for a muddy color mix. These images were before I discovered he had fin rot, and he is on the mend from a nearly two week battle with his condition.

Gasen

-Only betta I have with solid-colored fins, beautiful cobalt-silver with a koi-like patch of rust on his forehead-

Fherian

-Feisty little fella, very quick to flare at the mirror-

Larel

-No he isn't a DTCT, that is a rip in his fin that is actually re-healing beautifully with some Melafix-

Osel

-My beautiful PA crowntail, when I saw him at the store where I got Larel, he was huddled on the bottom of his cup surrounded by aggressive bettas, so I took him home the same day. He's finally eaten something earlier today, and will be moved to a tank all to himself soon.-

If there's anyone who can recognize the color patterns of these bettas I'd greatly appreciate it! I'm not that skilled yet in identifying what they are.

@Carlove1 - Thanks! I think so too for such a trooper he's been for sitting in a medical tank for almost 2 weeks. I can take a photo of his current state as his tail was the only damaged area.

@Zophie and Gizaroo2 - thanks so much!

I'm still pondering what colors they are - I think Gasen is a marble white/blue

All of your bettas are gorgeous, you got a nice bunch there! Even the females are stunning!

Thanks! I have two places in my room where I can place long tanks - one being a shelf on a desk and another being a shelf under the top part of my daybed. Osel's tank will most likely be on the top part as my blinds are always closed, making for dim light in my room most of the time.

Forgot to mention that Asol is absolutely stunning! I've never seen a color combination like that before :)

X3 Thanks! Seems everyone is liking Asol, who as a result might be the Playboy of the group. Darn that as luck would have it he's the one afflicted with fin rot.. >.<

Aww, poor guy! Hope he heals up soon!

He looks like he's healing, he's not loosing finnage but he doesn't appear to be gaining any either..

That's good at least...Hopefully he'll grow it mostly back :) Finneus has about an inch long tail right now...and it's slowly growing. He tried to tell my last 2 filters who was boss and lost...silly fish. He used to look like the pic in my sig, but now no longer has the white lol.

Dang, well I hope prettyboy here doesn't do that when I put a filter into the shared tank

Lovely bettas. I really hope you get them into larger heated, filtered, cycled tanks soon, though!

Have you tested the bowls for ammonia recently? I find it hard to imagine it takes a week for the ammonia to build up. In an unfiltered 14 litre (3 imperial gallons) hospital tank I need to do daily water changes to keep the ammonia down.

I've been watching your other post in the main betta forum admiring photos of Osel, and it's suddenly dawned on me I have a female of the same colouration. D'oh. He's pretty though
