ok here is the deal. I have a 20g that is housing 4 sailfin mollies,2 bumblebee gobies,2 angelfish, and one extremly cute and friendly figure eight puffer. My plan is to move the angelfish into my 60g which currently houses two almost fully grown oscars which will be moved into a 125g for perminint housing. My 60 will become angelfish heaven with everything angelfish need to what they don't and I just think is pritty. Also not only will the 60 become a angelfish paradice but also a aqua garden a.k.a dutch aquarium with many sword plant speices. My 20 gallon will be turned into a brackish community.
I need to know what can go with mollies, gobies, and one figure eight puffer. :sly: :sly: :sly: Oh and the puffer's name is Butters and he is the destroyer of worlds!!!!
I was hoping to put a scat in there since there is no plants. Or a spotted puffer.

With the mollies gobies and puffer you are already at the maximum you can safely add to a brackish tank. Brackish and marine tanks have lower safe stocking limits than freshwater tanks, the suggested guideline for brackish is 1" of fish for each 2 gallons of water. Spotted puffers (Tetraodon nigroviridis) are not suited to a community tank and would soon destroy all the other fish, they are at best only suited to brackish communities with much larger fish or kept in a species tank. Scats grow to 10 inches and are extreemly messy so shouldnt be kept in anything less than 75 gallons.

I wouldn't trust the mollies in with the puffer tbh. The puffer would soon decimate them, or stress them to death. The BBG's you could get away with I'd imagine, some people have success with them.

Like CFC said, you're stocked to the gills... Don't add anymore fish

Even if there were less fish in that tank, scats and monos need a much bigger tank then a 20. For a 20 gal, stick to gobies and F8's

My F8s were terrorized by a single sailfin molly. I'd get rid of the mollies & get another F8.

There's no way 2 oscars could get full grown in a 60g. How large are they?

They are 10" long and still growing a little. You would be surprized that I got them when they were only 4" long!
So are there any other fish that would go with the F8 and BBGs? I kinda was hoping to put some other kind of gobie like a knight gobie but I think my BBGs would get eaten by it. Is there no kind of other puffer that would not go with Butters and Caster and Pollux (my two BBGs)??? I wish I could get a mono but sadly I have to agree with you guys that they are tooooooooo big *sigh*....people should really try breeding mini sizes of fish....*sigh*
Wait which is it the mollies kill the puffer or the puffer kills the mollies?MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!!!Personly I think my mollies are to stupid to be anything but simple minded. Also they have never shown any aggression exept to each other. They chase one another around until they get tired of it and start buging me for food.

P.S I only have the mollies in there so that when they breed (which they do every three weeks) the babies would feed my BBGs which love the taste of molly. Oh Butters likes mollies to don't ya Butters! ;)

:fish:

Yea you Are right :/ :( :-( ....pooooooop. I think I need to put the angelfish in the 60 soon!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!And then figure out what to do with the mollies!!!!
