The Chewing Gum Packet Has Been Dumped...

A week or so ago, I posted about how my betta was in love with a chewing gum packet.... well, yesterday I bought another betta, put him in a tank next to Kamiko's with an envelope between so they can't see each other all the time. I've been removing the envelope now and then, for a few minutes... and they both get very excited and flare and whizz around their tanks wiggling... but I did it just now, and Kamiko suddenly stopped flaring and ..... started to build a bubble nest! It is the biggest one I have seen so far..!! Oh my.

My boy Rainbow(RIP) built a bubble nest when he first met Risteek. At the time he was the only betta and had never built a bubble nest.

I love it when I see them building the bubble nest, it makes you feel like you're taking good care of them. Kamiko seems more interested in his nest than flaring when he sees swizzles.. which is kinda weird. LOL

Maybe you have a gay Betta. JUST KIDDING! : That's cool that your fish is building a bubble nest now not over some chewing gum packet, but because of another male Betta.
