I saw this plant in the store, and they sold me a bulb for it. I think it can tolerate warmer temps and high water flow, but snails may do some damage to it (i.e. the pond snails that I am trying to eradicate). Anyway, my PH is 6.5 with moderate hardness, temp from 82 to 85 degrees, having trouble regulating the temp fluctuations. The plant is Aponogeton Ulvaceus, and it was highly recommeded by the Asian planted aquarium store I have come to know since moving here. Anyone have any experiences with this plant? I heard it gets huge...and makes a great centerpiece!?!?

It's very impressive! Not really my cup of tea tho. Not overly keen on the larger leaved plants.

One of my favourites!! Its a beautiful plant and scarily fast growing, most of the aponogeton species are! my A. Crispus (sp) has grow 4 inches in a week and a half and has sent up a flowering shoot to the surface! thats about 50cm in under a week!!
