:hyper: Well I've finished fixing one of my 18" cube breeding tanks and it now has 2 Algarde Bio-Foam 200 (each designed for tanks 200L) attached to a decent double outlet air pump, which are finishing their cycling (Had them in my main tank for a while).

My female betta is also in the tank, finding it all to exciting and constantly flaring and trying to get my fingers when I feed her. Lol silly fish. Been doing daily water tests, only to find no toxin build up at all (so the filters are doing their job)

And to top it off I've got a new digi cam. So once I've got the software loaded up on my laptop, there will be no excuse for me not having pics for you all.

Unless I'm at work of course... lol

I'm currently making a DIY light hood for the breeding/conditioning tanks and adapting an old cabinet to house a fry frearing tank. The whole thing should be ready after the new year! It's not an expensive or impressive set-up, but I hope you will find it as interesting as I will as it develops.

Quick question: if I can't get hold of IAL's, would humaquat be suitable??

sounds like uve been busy lol, hey as long as it does the job it doesnt need to be impressive. am lookin forward to seein pics
good luck with it and yes humquat(sp) will do the same job as will black water extract ( i dont use anything in mine)

I couldn't help it... I went into my LFS store over the weekend and well... My pure red VT isn't going to be breeding anymore. I've decided due to his age I'll let him carry on being boss fish in the 125L tank.

I've now got a beautiful cambodian VT who is currently on his own, enjoying fresh bloodworm and daphina. The female has now fully settled down and is a steel greyish body with dark red fins with a blue irridesence. If successful I'm gonna have some purdy fish.
