Thank you for the clearest article about the chemistry of cycling ever.  You and

tcamos
have created two threads that should be read by all starters.
 
I am currently cycling my first 150 gal for food fish, (cats).
API test kit explanation was excellent, and I will be doing diluted tests to find my actual Nitrite levels.
I realize most here are keeping pretty fish, and someday I may.
