hi....

i'm trying to replace my impeller having broken the ceramic shaft when trying to place it back into its bay after cleaning it....its been a few weeks since i broke the shaft.....now i cant remember whether the black bush that is fitted to the bottom of the shaft in the packet it arrived in stays on there when i put the impeller in the casing....there is one on each end in fact....

can anybody help?....

you have to take the little black bung out of the packet, place it on the end of the shaft, then slide the shaft through the impellor and place the other bung on the end

then carefully put the impellor and shaft back into the head and give a GENTLE push on the shaft so it sits tightly

then put the head back on being careful not to apply much pressure
