Tetratec Ex1200

you run it anyway you choose, running the spray bar an inch under water will help with noise

Why would you have the spray bar emerged?

The best place to have it is around an inch below the surface pointing slightly upwards so the flow ripples/breaks the water surface to aid oxygen transfer. :good:

 team tetratec to the rescue.. strength in numbers ;)

Submerge the spraybar under the water and it will then run silent, if you find the flow is to powerfull turn the spray bar round so it hits the glass at the back of the tank.

And you can run it without the spraybar but it will create a strong current that will run in a straight line rather than being spread out by the spray bar.

Edit; ^^^^^lol what they said^^^^^

I wondered that but the picture in the book of words seemed to show it above. lol

considering that they put the basket handles on the wrong way round so the bottom 2 baskets inlet pipes didn't line up with the top 2.

I put all my media apart from the carbon from my internal and packed it into the ex1200 for 24hr everything was fine. Now for some reason I have ammonia present any ideas.
Thanksin advance.
