Simple as that, I really want one of these as the external for my nano, but can't seem to buy one anywhere!

Go for the 600 instead, I've never seen a TTex400 for sale and we can't get them from a supplier at work either, the 600 isn't that much more expensive.

How do you think that would do in a 15L nano?

I had an idea to enxtend the spray bar around the perimeter of the tank to try and reduce the power of the flow, but increase circulation for the plants.

Ah I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Zoo Med 501 Turtle Canister Filter,

So hopefully that will do the job!

I was going to go for some nice lily pipes too, but they are prohibitively expensive,

I'll be cutting the intake into the 3D background of the aquarium, and the return can be by spray bar (I'll make this out of transparent acrylic tube if its an eyesore).
