Hello,
im going to embarrass my self now. Ive just had delivered my new 1200, and just need to know if the carbon needs to be taken out of the two bags and placed loosley in the tray. The instructions look like its loose, but the bags look like that they are designed to have h2o flow through.

Your suggestions?

Many thanxs

Tim

take it out of the plastic bag but leave it in the fine mesh sacs

Oh and wash them a bit first - they will have a lot of black dust on/in them ;)

Thanks Nelly for the fast reply, i will leave in little bags then, back to it,rather exciting :fun:

Sorry, thanks to smithrc, appreciate it.

Frustrated mac user on a pceeeeee.

wow,

how easy was that :good: .all up and running.its very quiet. fishies seem to be enjoying the spraybar. One thing I should say is that my advice would be to not rush the set up of it,as I did read a few people snapping taps.but no problems at all.

I'm setting up a 220 gl and more than likely get two of these for that. Some of you did say that you took the carbon out and used a "bio-filter"?,obiviously theres good reasons for this and im assuming most lfs/online shops will carry this product.Anymore info would be helpfull

many thanks

Tim

I seriously need to update that :D

The father-in-law now has it as a track toy (soon to be replaced with his R6)

I'm now (and have been for about 18 months) on a GSXR 750 - even more fun, but scary at the same time!
At least on the 400 it wouldn't bite you if you were a little over zealous with the throttle etc!

the only thing that stopped me getting a little 400 was its a pain on the m/way. Gixer 750- awesome, too many good bikes out there.Do love the Ducati 999,fast as but not outa control. I want to try the Ducati 1098, looks great.
