Tetratc Ex 600

hi all,
through a friend of a friend whos given up fish keeping i brought a leaking tetratec ex 600,dont know why as im all sorted on filter front but as he only wanted £10 for it i thought why not!!

if you fill filter with water and tip it upside down water pours out around the 4 main cap clips and around where the electric cable enters body.ive stripped pump motor head and the two seals inside look ok but wonder if anyone knows were i can get new seals from or if theres any other known leaks to check on this model?

I have no experience on those filters myself but hopefully you can find a spare on the above link or eBay?

I've bought seals for the ex1200 online. I'll have a look for the shop I used. Many lfs's will order them in if you ask too.

Sounds like the seal, good smear of vaseline on it sometimes helps....
