Hi all, just wondering if anyone has tried using TSS when doing a fishless cycle using pure ammonia. I read that it can work pretty quickly in grtting the ammonia down. I put it in over 48hrs ago but no change with the levels. Am I being inpatient?

Good morning and welcome to the forum! IMO the bottled bacteria is useless, most of the time. This is just my opinion. The bacteria need to be fed and sitting on a shelf in a store or warehouse, they don't get fed and die. I have heard of some people getting lucky and it speeds up their cycle, but I wouldn't count on it. Patience is the key.
