Yes, many members report switching to a more concentrated conditioner to save money. If the tank is under a year and a half old we often recommend Seachem Prime because it is so good handling the other things besides just dealing with chlorine/chloramine neutralization. Beyond that, when the filters get really mature, sometimes you can find pond conditioners that are still more concentrated.
