Tetra Aquaart 30l - Some Advice For Running This Tank

Hey, ok so i recently, well a while back bought this tank, and its idealy for a small shoal of fish + cherry shrimp, and planted. I was wondering If anyone here has or has had this tank.

After a few weeks of running smoothly i am noticing that there is gradually a lack of water circulation being privided by the only source, the filter.

I am curious if i should replace it or something to improve flow of water, the filter itself did a great job of clearing the tank however i am just curious at its lack of flow.

Any tips?

Have you taken the filter out, cleaned the media (in tank water) and the impellor? Sometimes they get clogged up and just need a quick rinse thru to get them working fully again.

i have replaced the media, which is very simple, just pull out replace and clean. But i have tried the impellor, i dont know how i would go about it, also, the filter itself is suctioned onto the back of the tank, 1 question would be, how to get a suction off glass underwater!? lol.

Try to get your fingernail under it

If you are worried about flow, you could get an air pump and an air stone. I don't think it's a problem though.

Ahhh ill try that later, Ill do a full clean through off the filter and see if that helps.
