Hi,

As i'm new to fish keeping i'm just getting all my bits and pieces together, i bought some test strips to start off with but they don't seem to be that accurate and don't test amonia???

Was just wandering what the best kit to buy is??? i don't want to go spending a fortune, but at the same time i want something that is realitively good.

Thanks

Nath

API master freshwater test kit is the one. is expensive but heard they are cheaper on ebay. I use it it comes with charts, bottles of test fluids and testubes! Yes it's like going back to school but it makes it fun also!

agreed.

i also used to use test strips, till i found out how inaccurate they was so i bought seperate testers for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and now ph and theyre spot on. I only use the test strips just to check chlorine, kh, gh which all show ok.
