Hi All,

Are these test results OK?


pH
7.2 to 7.6

Ammonia
0.0 ppm

Nitrite
0.0 ppm

Nitrate
20-40 ppm

The main one that concerns me are the pH and Nitrates, admittedly I've lacked in testing for a period, going to make sure I maintain checks from now on.

Need to test my hospital tanks levels shortly too

Why? Those concentrations are most acceptable.

As RadaR said, they're fine for most average community fish. I personally would aim to have the Nitrates lower, but that is because my water comes out of the tap with practically 0 nitrates in it. So for me 20-40ppm would just show I've been letting water changes slide.

Unless you're keeping anything special/expensive I wouldn't even think twice about changing anything.
