so my sister in law got a API water test kit but at this moment spending $40 is just to much. so i was curious if anyone has tried the one Walmart has its the Tetra Laborett Master Water Test Kit? if so can you give me some reviews on it

That one should be fine. You could save even more money if you could get this one:

You REALLY need to measure ammonia and nitrite in the beginning so the above should do. Although I'm told KH and GH are helpful, they're not vital so you could just get the one above if available to you instead of the one you looked at.

I'm only a beginner so I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong.
