Our local tesco(south leicestershire) has been selling a 3 inch net with a long handle and 2 3inch plants (plastic) for 50p! Thats unreal . Made by our chinese friends but i got six just for the plants (cheaper than wilkinsons) but the box i got them from on the shelf was almost empty by 1 week. What value!!!!!! :good:

:o Noooooo! Don't fund tescos!

My local (Dalkeith - Edinburgh) has some small tanks in at bargain prices but they've all gone now but maybe in other stores?

They were around 8 to 12 litres so not suitable for much but one had light built into hood and a hang on filter (no heaters though) but for clearance the ones with hood-lights were reduced to £15! They also had tank decorations and plants as mentioned above for no more than £1 a pop.

its always worth visiting Tesco Extra. they have bargains, of all kinds but mostly electrical, you do have to visit often though. last week i bought two walkie talkies, 3km range, 8 frequency's all the gear, but they run on aaa bats, For £3.21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! got an a4 laminator for £9,99 two years ago and its still going strong. their business practices may be deplorable, as are those of all the big supermarkets, but we are stuck with what we have, so i make the most of it.

Well do you pay 4 quid for a plastic plant from the lfs or get one from tesco for 50p-i needed loads for my breeding tanks-that would cost the earth so i went to tescos and why not!

I have Europes Larget Tesco 5 Mins from me.
I'll go after work tommorrow and have a browse.
They have a 1pound sale on ATM and Loads of Silk Flowers and Plants have been Reduced.

isnt it a shame asda is owned by wamart but dont sell bettas?:(

I've been in to tesco today and they still had some left but have reduced it to clear it out. I got a spare net with 2 useless plastic plants that will end up in the hospital tank for the mighty sum of 25 pence!
