Terminology Newb!

alright im starting to learn alot more about bettas, iv always has your old lfs veiltails and one crown tail. currently im looking at purchasing a plaket on aquabid. yes i know its expensive for like one or two fish but i can't find these kinds of georgious little fishes anywhere.

but sadly thats as far as i get in terminology and the fine detail that i keep reading so much about! for example is i dont quite get the term rosetail. or hkmt or which ever the acrnim is. so if anyone could explain all this and maybe even post some pictures for examples i would love it!

and before anyone puts that link up for the FAQ i'v read all that. what i wanna know is the termanology for the fine details.

i think the acrinim is HMPK which means a "halfmoon plackat"

wouldnt be able to describe a rosetail to you

Not so long ago i was in the same boat!
i didnt understand a word these guys spoke....

GREAT! lol i did understand the crown delta (super) plaket. rosetail comb and all that i was a little confused to. lol but that explained in more detail what was what!. lol if there is any other details i should know i would love to hear it. im all about the details! (trucks tv referance)

then i forget!
