Tempted By This Tank

Looks nice, and takes up less space. It would replace the 30l in my sig, so the 30l can be a fry tank! Anyhoo, what could I have in it? I've had some ideas

1. 6 female bettas
2. 2 male bettas - devided obviously
3. 1 male betta (from 30l) and some pygmy corys
4. shoal of ember tetras


Either way, I'd want it heavily planted with plenty of hiding places

So, any suggestions? I want something a bit more unusual that the ones above, though a female betta tank sounds cool.

Most of those plans are OK, in my book. The one you need to watch out for is the female bettas. It needs to be really heavily planted for them and even then might be too small (as it is tall, rather than wide).

The best one is male betta and pygmy corys, IMO.

I don't like male betta and pygmy cories (even though I love pygmies). IMO it is hard to have any luck with them in a shoal less than ten and they are fairly active so I don't see them having enough swimming space in a cylindrical tank.

I'd forgotten dwarf puffers! The only problem I can see is that if I ran out of snails and the teeth got too big...
