Temperature Alarm

I am going on holiday soon for the first time since I set up my aquarium and I'm wondering what would happen if the heater broke while I am away. Does anyone know if a gadget exists that could send me a text message if the temperature of the water got too cold?

I doubt it.

You could always get a backup heater and place that in before you go

Do you have a neighbour/friend who could chack in every now and again> are they being fed by someone?

P.s; (They can survive for 1-2 weeks without food- holiday feeder things should be avoided if possible)

Id go with the extra back-up heater if your really worried. No extra muss or fuss, just a few extra cents and you gain your piece of mind.... and when you get back, can take it out and store it for if you ever need it again
