To clean the tank (if there was no sign of disease after all and no toxins in the water etc - I agree it was lack of oxygen from over-stocking myself), then warm tap water will do. If you think there might be something dangerous in it, I'd suggest you use a weak bleach solution and rinse, rinse, RINSE!
