tankmates for a needlenose gar

What are possible tank mates for a needle nose gar in tank of 75 + gallons??

Too many to list here, but a great one (and a common combo) are bichirs! They generally do well with just about any medium-sized surface dwelling fish.

Remember needle noses need (or highly prefer) live food, so any tnak mates must not be able ot out hunt or intimidate the gar from feeding. I find that any large bottom dwelling fish is suitable, i.e. cats, bichirs etc. And even some medium sized mid level fish which are not too aggressive and arent going to eat the gars food like uarus and severums are suitabe!

Silver Dollars would go well, I am guessing. What about some Geophagus?
