How long have you had him? From what I've read and from others experiences those should be in large groups of 6 otherwise it is very likely they will die. He wil probably settle down too.

He was one of my first fishys. He schools with the pink and green tetra but most of the time he likes to play in the driftwood (that hasn't sunk yet )

But he plays with the neons also

The neons are really hard to keep alive! I bought 6 and only 2 lived!

Are those pink Tetras called 'fruit loops' or something like that. If so, then they are dyed (injected with a colourful ink). This is very stressful for the fish, and might explain why they don't live long. I had some 'painted glass fish' - not by my own doing (my brother bought them for me for christmas) - and I think they lasted 4 months.

my "froot loops" i bought them ay before i knew about dyeing. I wana see them w/o dye. Anyway ive had them for about 6 months now
their still very healthy
