Yer i have central heating LOL.
The tank has been fine for around a year. Even had the housing people come out for other problems ( with the loft ) and they even looked at the tank and said it was nice . Never said anything about going though or that we can't have it on a up stairs flat.
I have noticed the nabours under us there doors keep slamming and i have asked them if they are doing it them selfs or maybe the doors have dropped in there flat. But they have said there only closing the doors normaly. And have read in this topic some one said that the doors would drop be for it goes though ?
I have asked friends and family which have said the flour boards would break but the tank will not go though because its on the beams.
But then again my family don't build houses for a living.
I am real down about getting rid of it. But have been offered a 33L wall one which fits on the wall for my 350 L tank. They told me id only be able to get neon's in the tank the wall one there offering me. Its still a 4ft wall one. But only 33L.
Donno why it has been ok for a year. And there was gravel in the tank and filled right up ( 2 inch of gravel ). I toke the gravel out and couldn't even lift it it was that heavey . I changed the gravel for sand ( 2 bags of it ) around 5 cm height. compared to the 3inch of gravel it had it it its nothing ??
I kept doing full water changes and nothing happened.... I was told that when you empty the tank then refill it its the worse bit because that is the main point were it can go though..
When i had the gravel int he tank i could walk up to the tank and the tank wouldn't move but now if you jump in front of the tank or just move your foot the tank moves e.g water goes up and down and creaks. that is with sand in . When the gravel was in the tank wouldn't move or creak. I have been asking around and had people saying its creaking because it ways less. and if i way it down more the creaking will stop and the moving of the water when walking up to the tank will stop because when i had heavey gravel in the tank none of this was happening ,,,,
