HI
Best to lift up a few floorboards and make sure your floor joists are in good nick,
your floor joists should be 6"x2" or 7"x2",
also calculate the weight of the tank when full and let me know!

is this any good to you ??

That is going to be some weight. You could reinforce your joists with nogging where your tank will be situated.

You will have plenty of time to research.

That is over half a ton (uk) weight of water.

Not including tank cabinet and substrate but you will have a great sized tank :good:

yeah ahve worked that out , by this time next week will have tank , maybe discuss , not to sure , some big plecs , loaches , corrys ?? hhhmmm goona be intersting and expencive i think !!!

that tank will hold roughly 600kg of water . youre probably looking at a combined weight including tank , cabinet substrate etc of somewhere in the region of 3/4 of a metric ton, perhaps a little more . my 4x2x2 holds 450 litres water is just under 1 kg per litre . the weight of my tank empty is about 50kg so 1/2 ton combined plus the cabinet etc on top . mind you i have got about 150kg of rocks in mine too :hyper:
