Tank Weight

Hi Folks

I have recently purchased a new tank, 4 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot. I reckon the tank will weigh in the region of 700kg when setup. Now, this tank is being setup up on the first floor of my house. The house is a brand new build.
My question is has anyone set up large tanks like this on 1st floors or similar. I've had 90gl tanks setup in my old flat on the first floor no bother, but nothing this heavy.

I'm just a bit warry to have such a large weight on the first floor. I will be spreading the weight between joist and is next to supporting wall. Cheers for the input.

Luckily the architect is still on site as there is more properties to be built. Got him looking into the matter for me as well

I'd go with getting the architect's opinion tn be honest. Houses are a bit expesive, really!
Some freinds of my parents had a water bed but to install it they needed the floors to be strengthened, so IMO it is perfectly valid concern.
