Now that I have figured out the tank, the stocking, and the way I am going to decorate it, last but not least is the stand. I was wondering if I could put the 29 gallon on my bureau? Or would it not be able to hold it?
:)

Well a gallon of water weighs 8.33 lbs., times 29 is 241.57lbs. That is a large amount of weight in a small area. It's up to you whether or not you think it is going to support the tank!

It all depends how solid and sturdy your bureau is. We brought a chest of drawers for our 21g tank and it holds up just fine, but it is made from thick wood with a middle support in it.

So should I keep it on my bureau or not? I am still not quite sure. My mom says it will be fine but... I want to be sure.

No one on here can tell you for sure, only you will know that from how solid the piece is.
