Tank Size Questioni

A friend gave me this aquarium. Im looking to find out the gallons so I can incorporate my betta into a compatible community tank. Dimensions are 36l x 12 1/2w x 16 3/4h. I need to know so I can find appropriate filtration. Thanks

It's about 113 litres, I rounded down the measurements you gave

Just checking, that's inches isn't it? Not calculated it, but I'd guess that'd make sense for 113L if so. Could make a nice community if you get a laid back betta and fish which won't nip him - a good group of small shoalers and corys with a betta would look nice.
