Tank Size For An Oscar?

From what I understand, although I've never kept an oscar myself as I can't house a tank large enough at this present time

I believe it is 75gal for an oscar alone, with no other tankmates. Also double rated filtration is required as they are very messy fish. To have tankmates with an oscar that are big enough not to get eaten then you'd need to be looking at a 100+ gallon tank
