Hi, I was looking for advice for what order to put the following fish into my tank.

I was hoping to get 2 Clownfish, a Long Nosed Butterflyfish, a Regal Tank, a Scooter Blenny and maybe some sort of Angelfish and also some soft corals.

My tank is about 30~35 UK Gallons, I have T5 lights, protien skimmer and Eheim 2213 external filter.

I know this is going to take a long time and I am willing to wait for best results so im just looking for some advice on what order to put the fish in the tank and how long to wait in between.

Any replys would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,
Add the 3 clownfish first. these are quite hardy and will pair up. They are not overly aggressive to other fish either. The butterfly.... hm.... make sure its the right one as there are 2 types of yellow longnose butterflys fish. One if reef safe, the other eats corals. Im a little concerned over the size of the tank for this fish however as they grow quite big. Perhaps a small on will do ok, i did afterall keep a copperband sucessfully in 40gallons.

The regal tang however is another story. The tank is far to small to keep any tangs. 100 gallons minimum for sucha fish im afraid. If you try and get a regal in a small tank it will simply stress out and get whitespot causing major problems.

Angelfish.. last IMO pygmies are great for this size. Perhaps a fireball angel or even a cherub angel.

Thanks, thats great advice.

Do you think it would be possible to add a Black and White Heniochus Butterflyfish instead of the Regal Tang or will this not work becasue of the Long Nosed Butterflyfish?

Thanks again.

Hi Missby

IMO your tank is far to small for any of the fish (In the last post) and you should be looking at smaller fish to keep
