Tank Recommendations Please!

Hi all,

As the title says i am looking for recommendations as we would really like to look into getting a new tank. All we have is 3 african dwarf frogs and at the moment have no plans of getting more fish. Our froggies are now over 4 years old and have lived in the same old tank their whole lives-definately time for a change. Even though we have been keeping fish for a number of years we have admittedly been quite lazy about it as the tank was given to us all set up and ready to go so we have never had to do cycles or anything like that so in a way we shall be beginners getting a new tank and im quite looking forward to it!

At the moment the froggies are in a rekord 60, i think i would prefer a smaller tank as as i said we only have the 3 frogs and its doubtful we will get more fish, especially while the frogs are alive! We have been looking at the BiOrb Life 30, but it doesnt seem to have great reviews and from what i have read the ceramic media wouldnt be suitable for the frogs! shame because i do like the look of it and the size would be perfect. Can anyone recommend a tank that might be similiar? Or is there someway to cover the ceramic media to make it safe for the frogs?

Any other recommendations will be really appreciated

I'd recommend getting a standard rectangular tanks, BiOrbs are designer tanks in my opinion, and they have the usual designer price to go with them! The filters aren't fantastic either.

You could get a 24*12*12" tank, filter and heater all for about £50-60.

You might be able to take the filter out of the biorb life, then you could have sand etc, but like SS said, you might be better with a standard tank
