Bought myself a 5 foot tank the other day which works out to be 350l, by the time i have added my sand, slate, water, home made stand its going to weigh roughly 400KGs, im worried it may be to heavy for my floor as it would be going upstairs in my house so first floor. my house is about 5 years old so im not sure if this means its stronger/weaker as i obviously dont want it coming through my roof.
anyone else had the same sort of situation and can give me some advice? the tanks waiting outside now its annoying as i want to set it up
Hope someone can help thanks

theres no certain way to say yes or no unless you get the house surveyed
400Kg's is almost half a ton
if you put it where you know theres a RSJ you might be okay as they can hold up wall's

. But what's an RSJ is it the joint thingys and ifbso how can i check where they are?.
. It's on a supporting wall, running across 3 joists.
