Now my levels have stayed stable for a while i have finally stocked my 130ltr tank,And everybody living in it seems in good health.
But i have a feeling i may have overstocked.
i have
3x mollies
3x guppies
6x cherry barbs
6x neon tetras
1x small catfish Not sure of make and model but its silver blue colour and mental
1x 4" black knife (although this will be rehoused if and when it starts eating the others)
Ant comments would be appreciated

The catfish needs an i.d. Some get seriously big. Got a photo?

As for the bgk sadly its not just the danger to the other fish but the adult size you need to worry about. They can reach a foot long and needs much bigger tanks.

Everything else is fine

Just checked the catfish is a Short bodied catfish (max size 75mm)
And as i said the Knife will be removed as it gets bigger

BGK can attain a much bigger size than your tank can handle... The 'mental silvery blue catfish' maybe a pim pictus? Which is also a predatory fish so your neons will probably end up on its menu when older. They also grow to 6-7" i think and need to be in groups.

All your other fish sound great though.

As in a Corydoras? They're a sociable species and need to be in a group of 6 at least.

Sadly a tank of that size is not big enough even if it was kept on its own simply due to its adult size.

Thanks for the advice i have now found a new home for the BGK now all i need is a Centrepiece fish that will get on well with my others
Any suggestions???
